Merry Christmas!

Let me just start off by saying it has been a very long and stressful week.  Tryng to start up two companies at once is a lot of work. I have been working harder on one of them which means im not getting as much spray painting done as I would like. But my goal for tomorrow is to have everything bedazzled and ready to go. Not to mention I have to put up a chandelier in my dining room. And for Tuesday, if we get in enough work and we work out some of our issues we will hopefully have a groupon or living social deal very soon! Well I hope you all had a Merry Christmas! Cant wait for New Years!

Cameras and Photoshop

Today I have been working with a camera. Let me just say setting the timer and letting the camera shoot on its own is not an easy task. Only half the picture comes out good, and its not the good half. Also there are so many buttons on this camera its taking me hours just to figure out which one does which. But besides that at least I have a camera. I am not sure how to switch the lenses yet, but at least I can take a picture. Well that was the first part of my day. Now I am trying to work on Photoshop. Which would be happening right now if it wasn't still downloading. But anyways on to Bedazzled Treasures, I did not go to Long Beach today to get more inventory, but since it was raining that is probably a good thing. I have one item up for sale on Ebay and I am pretty sure it is going to sell, if so I will put more up tomorrow. I have some up on etsy (http://www.etsy.com/shop/chelseafidak ) and the rest of the items are sitting in a garage waiting to get painted. Which will hopefully be down by the end of this week. I have a designer looking at two of my items in the next few days and I am crossing my fingers that she buys them because they are my most expensive pieces. Sorry about the long post, but I have a lot on my mind!

Life in General

This is not really related to Bedazzled Treasures, but I just want to write a little about making things happen on your own. The only person you can really count on is yourself. The statement can apply to anything whether it be a job, or just life in general. I wanted to start two of my own businesses because I needed to stop relying on other people. I wanted to do something on my own, make my own success. I hope that I am able to do that with my two new companies. And I hope that I can inspire other people to do the same!

Lights, Camera, Action

Planning, Planning, and Planning is all I have been doing lately. I have so many ideas but I just need a camera. My brothers would be a great start, if only I could get him to let me use it. What I really need is an investor. I am going to keep looking for one because I have a great plan and I just need to put it into action. I cannot wait until I get everything ready and have both of my businesses going. I am so glad to have my best friend here by my side helping me. And to add in, we received our business cards and they look fantastic. Hopefully I will be going to the Long Beach on Sunday to get more inventory. I guess we will see!

Cake Pops, Stolen Spray Paint, and Picture Frames

Today was probably the most productive day I have had in awhile. The first stop of course had to be Starbucks. After we headed to Pomona to go on, what seemed like a scavenge hunt, to find anything that we could bedazzle. With a little luck we did find some picture frames. One of them is now listed at http://www.etsy.com/shop/chelseafidak, the other two should be up by tomorrow. And by the end of the day I was signed up for a photography class that will come in to play in our other upcoming business venture. And well about the stolen spray paint, a family member had extra so I figured if the aren't using it, I might as well.
